Service Engineer in Brazil

Position

The Service Engineer position reports to the Service Manager South America.

Main responsibilities:

* Inspection, Identification and classification of defects and carrying out repairs thereof.
* Maintenance, repair and retrofit of composite products using prescribed procedures, methods, materials and equipment.
* Carry out jobs in accordance with the Quality, Health and Safety standards in the working areas.
* Adherence to maintenance, repair and service schedules and customer requirements.
* Documentation and MIS relative to service, maintenance & repairs etc.
* Maintenance of administrative systems for equipment and materials.
* Coordination with the site managers, service desk, and service engineering.

Profile:

* The candidate should be a current or past Brazilian resident.
* Relevant exposure and experience in Hydraulics, Composites and Mechanical. Candidates with experience with blade service, commissioning or aerodynamics design will be favoured.
* Demonstrated experience in a service environment involving composite or mechanical engineering and in performing inspections and repairs
* Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and presentation.
* Ability to understand technical specifications, engineering drawings.
* Ability to use and familiarity with standard office applications (Microsoft office, Excel, Power Point etc.)

* Diploma Mechanical Engineering / BSc, MSc. Physics
* Minimum 5 to 7 years relevant experience
* Ability to train and develop people
